A photo from last night show opening. In order to find staff for the evening, a quick trip down to the Abercrombie & Fitch store at the end of the street was required to source some local talent. Nothing like a little bit of lateral thinking to solve a problem ;-) The two sexy English models Jamie & Erin will soon model for Ross Watson !

Sir Elton John arranged for Scissor Sisters front man, Jake Shears, to model for artist Ross Watson for his new exhibition OVERVIEW opening today in Sydney. Elton John and Jake Shears have added to their libraries 2 of the 75 copies of Watson's new Limited Edition Book, OVERVIEW, which is selling for $1,200. OhLaLa is very proud and very happy to be a media partner of this event :-)
Ross Watson unveils a stunning collection of his work from the past 25 years as part of the Midsumma Festival. The exhibition opened in Melbourne and will travel on to Sidney for the Mardi Gras Festival on thursday 27 February, through March 10. This photo of Elton John and Ross Watson was taken in his dressing room last Friday night in Melbourne, before he performed another sold out concert at the Rod Laver Arena. Ross and Elton recorded a JOY Melbourne Radio I.D. after Elton learnt of the station, and how it was the first (and after the demise of a gay and lesbian station in Sydney), remains the only one of it's kind in Oz.
Elton received from Ross a complete set of photographs from his Melbourne exhibition Catalogue XXVII Photographs Gifted to the ELTON JOHN AIDS FOUNDATION and valued at $30,000, the photographs will be auctioned at Elton's 2007 White Tie and Tiara Ball. Elton guzumped Ross' $30,000 donation to his AIDS Foundation by donating $250,000 to the Australian AIDS Trust last week.

Paul Licuria modeled for Ross Watson 10 days ago after sunning himself in Thailand. When stripping down he apologized to Ross for his tan line, but he had no need to as it was perfect for this picture, his butt as white as the Roman marble figure he faces. Thank you Ross for sharing this photo with us. Personally I would have spanked him for the tan line but that's just me ;-)
Following his successful Landmark 30th Exhibition in Mayfair, London, this exhibition of photography employs images taken by the artist over the past 27 years. Footballers Brodie Holland also feature in this exhibition. Sir Elton John, who has collected the artists work for 20 years, will view the exhibition whilst in Melbourne early December. George Michael who recently expressed great admiration viewing Watson's art, will model for the artist on the completion of his concert tour in London in December.
