This week we have been playing the perfect tourists with our friends from LA ! Yesterday, we went on the "Ferris Wheel" Place de la Concorde ! It was wonderfully freezing but the view is spectacular !

"Hey Mum ... I brought you some chocolates for the new year" ...TA DA !
For the New Year if one of your resolution is about doing your "Coming Out" then La grande Epicicerie in Paris might have the perfect chocolate box for you ! Available every year in limited edition for the holiday season. A "Must Eat" if you are in Paris.

Tonight was a cold night but the illumination of the Avenue makes you forget how cold it is (for a second). The Champs Elysées were nothing but a field back in 1616, until Marie de Medicis decided to put up a long tree-lined pathway and it became a very fashionable place to walk. Today the Champs Elysées is one of the most famous streets in the world with a fantastic illumination every year in December from Place de la Concorde all the way up to the Arc De Triomphe.

I took this photo on the "Passerelle St Louis" between Ile de La Cité & Ile St Louis.

In the heart of the Marais you will find Le Village St Paul which used to be a Monastery back in 630. In 1979 it has been renovated and transformed, today you will find galleries, libraries, antique boutiques and a few cafes.

The courtyard inside is a dream vision of hidden Paris. Le Village is located just behind Saint Paul Church between Rivoli and the Seine River. Exit Metro St Paul on Line 1. For more photos and informations in English on Le Village St Paul and the Marais area visit ParisMarais.com

"Est ce que je peux passer avec vous ?" = "May I enter with you ?"
Regardless your answer you will find a crotch pressing against your rear as you go through the narrow turnslide with a Parisian pervert or a hot American student touring Europe who doesn't have change to buy his own ticket ! The second option being the less likely to happen in real life, but still you can dream or not look back.

Boutique located Rue de la Ferronnerie, Metro Station station Châtelet exit Place St Opportune.

Je t'aime.
Steph
UPDATE: Thank you Steph for making my life amazing :-) , and thank you all (from all over the world) for making my birthday so special.
In the second part of the post you will find the image made by Ali & Mehmet from Istanbul ... Thank you boys.

Along the Seine river you can find books, cards and eventually some guys who are trying to catch some fish ... Yummy :-( One thing is for sure, it's that they won't catch Jacques Chirac swimming in it like he has promised a couple of years ago when he was the mayor of Paris ! lol ...
