OHLALA PARIS BIENTOT AVAILABLE EN FRANCAIS ;-)

In a few hours we will be on our way back to Los Angeles, as always we are really excited to go back to our californian home but as always it's hard to leave our friends and family here in France :-( Our next French voyage is planned for the spring which will be really nice :-) One last shot of Paris we took yesterday afternoon in the Marais and it's time for us to pack ... see you from L.A.

I almost forgot to announce that from Monday February 4, OhLaLa will also be available in French or "Enfin disponible en Français" should I say !!! After 4 years and over 30.000.000 visitors It was about time ;-)

JOHN GALLIANO LATEST FASHION DELIRIUM // PARIS

Like it or not, John Galliano latest fashion delirium was presented in Paris yesterday. Galliano claimed inspiration from the "frost fairs" of Tudor England, from aristos to lowlifes. Holbein’s portrait of Henry VIII (above) was a big influence.

PARIS JANUARY 18th 2008

In a couple of weeks we will be back in Los Angeles, so right now we are trying to enjoy Paris as much as we can, not that we will never come back but we will sure not spend as much time as we did. 10 years .... wow ... I can't even believe that Alek and I have been together and lived in Paris for that long already. This year is probably the most important year we had in a long time. We are now both self-employed (which is the best thing ever) this year will also give me back the possibility to paint even more, have a few exhibitions and well that's it really because this is all I am looking for. It's the weekend so we hope you will have fun wherever you are.

CAUTION !!! WILD MICHAEL SHUMACHER IN PARIS

As we like to say in France ... C'est la grande classe!!!!. Michael Schumacher was in Paris, Capitale de la mode, last night for the world premiere of the movie Asterix Aux Jeux Olympiques !!!! Lovely isn't it !!? On top of the look, he even gave the look, Grrrrr ..... For a second when I saw the red carpet I thought it was Rocco Siffredi. lol!

ELIJAH WOOD // THE OXFORD MURDERS // PARIS

Last night we had the "double" pleasure to see avant-premiere of the movie The Oxford Murders, and then have a drink backstage with the director Alex de la Iglesia and Elijah Wood (thanx Antoine) The movie was excellent, one of the best thriller I have seen in a long time.

Ok! now since I am not a movie critic and I always prefer people to make their own opinion, I will focus our experience on the Elijah Wood encounter, we found him really good in the movie and having the oportunity to meet him and chat with him was not intimidating but very pleasant. He is a really nice person, and well ... very SEXY (you can even forget the "Y") yes he is nice and hot ... oh and yes we also had the pleasure to meet his lovely girlfriend !!!

OHLALA PARIS JANUARY 5TH 2008

We're pretty lucky in Paris right now. While most of the Europe is under chaos with snow storms, floods, and all sorts of extreme weather, Paris remains mild with temperatures in the 40's. We took this picture just before sunset in the Tuileries garden, one of our favorite places in Paris. Hope you enjoy your weekend, no matter if you have fun outside or stay warm and safe inside ;-)

When the entire world demonstrates their happiness and hope for a fantastic new year by entertaining tourists and locals with incredible fireworks ...

Paris, as always, was the biggest joke of the planet with demonstration of forces all over the place ... no fireworks bien sur, the Eiffel Tower did sparkled at midnight, like it does every single hour of the year.

Like every year when we are in Paris we do celebrate the New Year with our best friend Anne Gaelle at our place, it was very intimate, candle light feast with lots of fantastic cocktails (thanx to Alek). Happy New Year to all of you all over the world. Love from Paris.
