
The Model Home Project is an organization created within the fashion industry to promote volunteerism among young people. The good news is that you don't have to be as hot as those guys to help ;-) The point was to get some attention ... and it worked !

When we see someone doing a right thing, we are happy to put our voice out-there and help make it happen. This is an exclusive interview about Lee Andrews straggles to make this calendar reality...
Lee Andrews: "The calendar 'idea' came about this past Summer while I was in Italy working on a photo book series for 2006-2007 featuring Italian and Spanish men. The 'Nazionale Vigili del Fuoco Rugby Team' posed for me and my assistants for photos in uniform (rugby & fire) the last week of August. During which time Hurricane Katrina devastated the region of the USA where I was born. It was perhaps one additional week later that I decided to dedicate proceeds to the relief effort stateside. It was also one week later that my favorite Aunt Mrs. Susie Foxx-Bass died aged 47 years old in Mississippi. Thus, the calendar is dedicated in her memory and honor. 'Susie' died due to complications from AIDS which she contracted from a blood transfusion in 1998. Our family has as many families around the world now officially lost a loved one to this dreaded disease."
