Yesterday more than 800,000 people participated at the Gay Pride Parade on Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro !!!
With less feathers 10,000 people took part of the Gay Pride event in Taiwan (the largest in Asia) to demand equal rights and the legalization of gay marriage.
After the parade for the 2007 Gay Pride in Paris, the place to be was Le Marais. And in the Marais the place to be was the Raidd Bar for the little Raidd boys gathering ;-)
The place is known for their gorgeous showering men, especially Steeve (up) and hot barmen, we just love Ramzy (the one wearing a cap). Anyway the boys were "managed" by Tonia who I am glad took the initiative to lower those white short :-p
I have no idea who is the bulgilicious guy (in the first pic) if anyone knows when and at what time he will take a shower at the Raidd, please let us know ;-) Now for more photos of this mini event click here.
What a fantastic idea to organize the Parisian Gay Pride in the middle of the winter ;-) When we have landed from L.A. I believed the stewardess was joking when she announced the temperature: 12°c (50°f) ... anyway I thought that temperature will rise in central Paris during the day because of the Gay Pride ... and I was right ;-)
But first let's start with the main news of the day ! There were also some clowns ... Those kind of clowns wouldn't make me cry as a kid that's for sure. I kind of hate clowns, I think they are creepy ... not those ! And this poor Wonder Woman trying to make a come back ;-)
The streets were packed with big trucks and big guys ... the blond guy (up right) was just stunning !!! He was in charge of the security, making sure no one jumps under the truck ... such a hero ! We also saw some Gladiators ... not French, but hey after all this is Europe right ;-)
When in L.A no one would dare to ride the Parade if the car is not a Porsche or a Mercedez in Paris we like to keep it simple (up left) and wet (up right) !!! ;-) Much more photos from this year Gay Pride in Paris HERE.

Today is looking like another fun move-in day ! We had to wait this morning for a guy to install the water connection to our fridge but the company that works for Best Buy does not do this particular connection anymore ... so I guess our plan for today will be to go and deal with this stupid plastic pipe that no one wants to install ... how fun !? ;-)

This sunday was the 37th annual LA pride parade. The parade, which celebrates the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities, is more like a commercial parade than a community celebration ! But I am not going to bad mouth on the event ... I only wish it was a little different and maybe more people would be proud to take part in this event !
In Paris for example, the "parade" has nothing to do with celebrating the gay community. It attracts a lot of young people who come to dance behind some commercial trucks and really don't give a damn about the gay community, they just follow the truck with the best music ...
But let's go back to the fun part of this past sunday in West Hollywood, for Alek and I it was the opportunity to meet a lot of OhLaLa readers :-) Thank you guys for all the nice things you have said to us ... So today between, Bed Bath & Beyond, Staples, Z Gallerie, we did manage to stop in Weho for the parade. It was hot, temperature wise and body wise ... We're off to Santa Monica to cool down by the water for the rest of the afternoon. We will post the photos from the 2007 Gay Pride in West Hollywood this week. Hope you had a great weekend!
