Air New Zealand is delving into the gay and lesbian market with a special themed flight that will feature drag queens, pink cocktails and a cabaret performed by the flight crew.

The destination for the airline's one-time "Pink Flight," scheduled to depart San Francisco International Airport on Feb. 26, is the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in Sydney, Australia, one of the world's most well-attended gay events, said Jodi Williams, an Air New Zealand marketing director.

"We are looking at tailoring the inseat entertainment and having gay-friendly movies and contests and different music and things like that," Williams said. The airline also plans to throw a "Get-Onboard-Girlfriend" going away party for its passengers, who will pay an average of $1,000 roundtrip. Thanx Erin. Read more ...

THE RITZ IS BACK ON BROADWAY ...

The Ritz is an over-the-top comedy that takes place in a bathhouse in Manhattan. The Ritz will be back on September 14th at the Studio 54 in New York, you can visit their official site for more informations.

For those not familiar with the play, it originally opened in 1975 and is set in a 1970's bathhouse. The full cast has been announced for the Roundabout Theatre Company's upcoming revival of Terrence McNally's The Ritz, directed by Joe Mantello.

The script requires several actors to play patrons of the bathhouse where the action of the comedy is set. Most notable among the new production's "patrons" is former gay porn star Ryan Idol who will make his Broadway debut in the show.

After Barbara Walters got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (between Ryan Seacrest and Destiny's Child) one of her co-hosts Joy Behar made a joke concerning Ryan Seacrest, saying they should relocate his star on Queens Blvd !!!

The audience apparently did not get the Joke, but Ryan who did, wanted to set the record straight about his "star". He just had a a little radio chat with her on Kiis.fm and now everything is clear. He has got his star for being on the radio for 15 years and not as the host of American Idol !!! Concerning the Queen Joke .. I did not get it eieither ;-)

OUT NEWS ANCHOR THOMAS ROBERTS LEAVES CNN

Sexy Headline News anchor Thomas Roberts, who came out to fellow journalists while speaking at the annual convention of the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association in Miami last year, left CNN on May 1.

In March, Roberts came forward with his story about how he was abused by a Catholic priest as a teenager, "I became a victim of sexual abuse at the age of 14; the abuse lasted three years. It took me nearly 20 years to gather the strength to help put my abuser behind bars. Now, a year after "justice" was done, I am ready to tell my story publicly in ways I never have before." He says he came out to avoid being outed by the media, how he's only received positive reaction, and his opinion that closeted gay celebrities should not be dragged out against their will. JENNIFER ANISTON IS SURE GLAAD SHE CAME ...

This weekend, the stars came out to support the gays at the 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. Among the winners, Ugly Betty, Brothers & Sisters, and a Grey's Anatomy episode appropriately titled "Where the Boys Are".

On the left Rebecca Romijn (who plays a transexual in Ugly Betty) and Eva Mendes (Ghost Rider), on the right Martina Navratilova out tennis legend who received a special award.
