David came close to tears as he witnessed the plight of African orphans during his four-day trip as United Nations Children’s Fund goodwill ambassador. "I had to step back and take a deep breath. But what stopped me crying was knowing that what these kids are going through is far worse than my feelings."

The dog/cat doll is an exhibit at a leading art fair opening in Rotterdam today and it has been stirring up a storm of response in the Dutch media. David Beckham returned to L.A while being erected on Sunset Boulevard he also began training for the 2008 Major League Soccer.

The New York City medical examiner reported today that Heath Ledger died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs, according to multiple reports. In a statement, the examiner said he died ''as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine.'' Those are the generic names for drugs often marketed as brand name painkillers OxyContin and Vicodin, the anti-anxiety medications Valium and Xanax, the sleep aid Restoril, and the sedating antihistimine sleep aid Unisom.

Victoria Beckham follows the steps of Julianne Moore, Dita Von Tesse and Naomi Campbell, who posed naked for Jacobs’ charity campaign in 2006. Victoria loves Marc’s work but wasn’t entirely comfortable with getting naked. Marc went all out to persuade her. And when she heard about what a great cause it was she knew she just couldn’t turn him down. The picture she and Marc have chosen is amazing sexy but tasteful.

"Since we moved to California I have realised how important it is to practice safe sun for myself and to keep my three boys' skin well protected as well. "Skin cancer is a huge problem and I really wanted to help raise awareness by taking part in Marc's initiative."

David Beckham aka Unicef Goodwill Ambassador went to the Aberdeen neighbourhood of Sierra Leone's capital Freetown, Beckham visited Sierra Leone to call international attention to the issue of child survival, ahead of the UNICEF State of the World's Children 2008 report.

During this visit David Beckham took the opportunity to do what he does the best showing his underwear ... playing soccer ... posing topless ... being a dad !
