VANITY FAIR HOLLYWOOD ISSUE 2008

If today's Hollywood highlight is a Britney Spear's paparazzi car chase in Beverly Hills, once upon a time, Hollywood was synonym of glamour. Each year for the Oscars season Vanity Fair recreate this fabulous era long gone, with today's fresh faces of Hollywood.

Alfred Hitchcock created some of the most arresting images in film history. For this year’s Hollywood Portfolio, the heart of their 14th annual Hollywood Issue, 21 of the finest actors working today have joined with four regular Vanity Fair photographers to re-create 11 of Hitchcock’s most iconic scenes.

From the top, Rear Window with Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem as Grace Kelly and James Stewart. The Birds with Jodie Foster as Tipi Hedren and Renée Zellweger in Vertigo all photographed by Norman Jean Roy. More photos from this Hollywood issue of Vanity Fair here.

Oh my! Those are gorgeous images...

Yes, these are GORGEOUS pictures re-creating old Hollywood. How I wish the likes of Britney and Lindsay Lohan would disappear!!
I'm surprised Alex and Steph would post these. I thought most readers on here would 100% prefer to see half-naked guys.
