You are right about the passion part. I, too, LOVE photography, the modeling biz, and hearing about it. Unfortunately, not all of us can seemingly prosper from having a blog. I'm assuming, based on Alex and Steph's sharing of their lives through this blog, that part of their income comes from the affiliation of other businesses on here, therefore, making life a bit easier to benefit the blog. Still, it is quite some work, but I do enjoy it nonetheless!
