WILL CHRIS PINE BE WELCOME ONBOARD THE ENTERPRISE !?

Reports state that Chris Pine (that we have mentioned on OhLaLa a couple of days ago, see the related post here) is "in talks" to star as a young Captain Kirk, but scheduling conflicts mean he's not confirmed. Trek is set to shoot from November through March. Early on Matt Damon was rumored to be cast as Kirk, but obviously that was just a big rumor. Zachary Quintos from Heroes will play a young Spock.

I don't care what cast is chosen -- no one can duplicate the original cast -- Star Trek ain't the James Bond "replace em" every few year characters.....
