PRINCE HARRY KIDNAP THREAT INTENSIFIES ...

As debate continues over whether Prince Harry should join British troops in Iraq, it's believed a bounty of $625,000 has been put on his head once he's deployed in the region. ''One of our aims is to capture Harry. We have people inside the British bases to inform us on when he will arrive,'' Harry is expected to arrive as early as next month, but officials fear Iraqi troops and police, may be tempted by the offer to reveal his whereabouts. source :: source

hi. your post made me ponder...
the first world war was started by the assassination of a royal.
if history repeats itself in this instance, i wonder if we will care then about debates on whether it was right or wrong to send this prince to war. will we care then about who was right and who was wrong? will it matter then?
the risk is just too big. not just for britain but also for us, our children and our children's children.

Would the ancient Imperial Lion snarl and lash-out? Or, make a Euro-gallic shrug over the whole matter and sink deeper into dhimmitude? Sadly, the Brits seem to lack any backbone at-all anymore.
Thank the Deity that Sir Winston isn't present to see how low the fortunes of his people have sunk.

Also in WWI - The Prince of Wales (party boy, later King Edward and Duke of Windsor) insisted on going to front lines in France, and was a major handful for the generals. If the Germans had captured him, ransom or prison in some castle on the Rhine would have been his worst fate. I shudder to think of Harry's fate, the internet videos showing it and/or the high price the Western World will pay to save him.

What's up with you English people--why don't you join the rest of us in the 21st century and stop giving so much cache to moronic knighthood titles like "Sir." I suppose when you are no longer a power to contend with you latch on to outdated notions of royalty. If that drunkard Harry was kidnapped I wouldnt give it a second thought--he is after all just another soldier. And Churchill was a racist, genocidal lout--he would feel right at home with today's politicians--thank god the old windbag is dead.
