Last november when we went to New York we had diner with our friend Joe Oppedisano, who gave us the details of his upcoming photoshoot for OUT magazine. Gladiators fighting and getting dirty ! The subject is perfect don't you think !? ;-)

Back then in ancient Rome Gladiators (Swordsmen) were occasionally "volunteered" professional fighters who fought against each other, wild animals, and condemned criminals & prisoners of war (not so volunteer) ! Today they are professional models who volunteer to get dirty for Joe !

Have u noticed how some gay guys feel insecure when they face a certain "gay stereotype" !? They like to be creative, smart, beautiful, for ever young, intelligent ... at the end they will still be a bunch of gossip bitches. I am gay and I love gladiators :-) is that bad sir ?

I"m not writing to trash anything. But asking for comments welcomes critiques as well as praise. I think the first posters were right. This editorial misses the mark in many ways. And I'm in the business of working on editorial shoots. As for another earlier poster, their necks are too long? Uhhhh......

Postscript: If Out runs this story, what does it show editorially? Does it promote a product or a look? Even an aesthetic? And if these shots are just illustrations for some front of the book stuff, what kind of article would that be?

These pictures might not represent galdiators completely but it's an idea and an inspiration... They're not suppose to look real. Who is the world are you gossip idiots that have the balls to say these guys are unattractive? Can you post pictures of yourselves so the rest of us can judge you??? I don't think so. Because whoever trashes this is an insecure jealouse freak that is trying to deny other people beauty... Also, why don't you take a camera and shoot something like this yourselves? Lets see how it will come out!!!
I think and I am sure millions of people think that these shots are hot and the guys in them are even hotter!!!
