The one that says that this is the assyrian language is indoctrinated by the assyrian ideoligy or just dumb. This is the Aramaic/Syriac language and nothing else!

Modern Aramaic is spoken today as a first language by numerous, scattered communities, most significantly by Assyrians.Many Assyrian priests can still speak Aramaic and in church the Lord's Prayer is still said in Aramaic..
