ARGENTINA // THERE'S A NEW GARDENER IN TOWN

If this picture below reminds you of a certain tv series, this is not a coincidence! Desperate housewives se dise Amas De Casa Desperadas in Spanish !

The show premiered last wednesday in Argentina, beside the fabulous cast with famous Argentinian actors, Nick a reader from Argentina who sent us those information told us that the acting was pretty bad and a big disappointment with the male cast, anyway all the gay population of Argentina gathered around television to see who's gonna mown the lawn of Gabriella !
And no disappointment on this one, Rodrigo Guirao, 26 years old and model will be playing the sexy gardener. The serie is being copied frame by frame. I can't wait for this scene to be shot !

The set of was built in Argentina and there are actually filming a Brazilian, Ecuadorian, and Colombian version on the same location. This means more sexy gardeners on their way, we will keep you updated. Muchas gracias Nik for all those information ;-) More photos of Rodriguo here :: Rodriguo's Portfolio ::

I don't think I ever saw or heard anything good or bad coming from Uruguay. Does it even exist?
If you watch carefully you will find a list of international actors (not just from Argentina) but of course I expect a comment like yours coming from someone that KNOWS about movies and international productions. There is a huge Spanish movie star in it. Do you know who she/he is? Do some research.
I am glad this production is done in Argentina. I don't know another country other than Spain capable of doing this with 'american' authorization.
I don't want to think about the amount of money paid for this production, copy rights. Keep the good work!! I love Ohlala Paris!!!

im from uruguay too, and i travel the word all the time, argentinian television is terrible, they are all lame imitations of american shows(this one is allowed by nbc usa though) uruguay has more of an international television since the uruguayan networks show american shows, but that doesnt happen in argentina, so for them this is new....my eyes bled from watching 2 minutes of it

Come on uruguayos! You can do better than that! I am from Argentina and I know that you can do better.
I didn´t see the program, because remakes of american comedies are always pathetic. But, in spite of what our brothers from the other side of the river say, we do have good shows. I am not going to tell you which ones. Maybe the prevoius posters can do it for me, since they watch our TV shows.
Despite the negative comments, we love our charrua brothers, and I bet they do love us. Please don't make us talk about you. That is going to low for us.

Well, I'm argentinian...I only can say Amas de casa desesperadas (that's the correct name) is produced by BuenaVista (Disney) and Pol-ka, an argentinian studio, and they will broadcast it in Latin America. There will be 3 different versions (Argentina, Colombia and another I don't remember) but all will be produced in Argentina.
I don' t wanna fight, but why Disney choose Argentina? Why people from Uruguay doesn't say their TV channels transmit many argentinians TV programms?
They have very beautiful places and beaches, people is very kind, but the truth is they don't have good TV programms.

Now come on! Stop bitching. I wish you were a bit more friendly to each other, uruguayos, argentinos, chilenos, paraguayos. I'm a foreigner living in Argentina. Be more friendly to each other, learn from friendly brazilians. P.S. The show is produced by Buena Vista, Disney. Disney Latin America's headquarters are in Argentina.
