THE NEW D&G 2006 AD CAMPAIGNS

Just tell me where do I have to sign to join the new D&G Navy team !! If you are not into the navy boys, you may prefer the Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign, it's a kind of Marie Antoinette meets the decadence of the Roman Empire ...

Does anyone know why the D&G and Dolce shows are not on style.com (as they usually are, as are all the other Milan and Paris shows)? Are they taking place at a different time or what?

The first "Marie Antoinette" ad has copied the pose of "Virgil reading the Aeneid to Augustus", by Ingres. The link http://www.abcgallery.com/I/ingres/ingres18.html
Hey, love your blog!!

I can make a comment about sea men on the poop deck, but it's just too easy...

Not really "Marie Antoinette". The empire gowns are more "Josephine" ...

It´s definitely «Style Empire»: look at the naked guy (besides the gowns à la Josephine or, who knows exactly, à la Justine...) - there's doubtlessly something napoleonish about him. And I don't mean the crown...

i guess it's more like INSAF or AFAF or LAMIA or ZANOUBIA or MARROUM or WIDAD or FROSINE or NAJAH or OUM KALTHOUM or ASMAHAN or ASALA or AHLAM or my aunt ZALFA !!!!
