Ian Thorpe has a coolness and self-confidence about him that I truly admire. He is one of the few athletes I would love to sit down with over dinner and a brew, and hear his side of the story.

Yes, Ian and Michael are friends, and Michael's wife Lindy gave birth to the couple’s first child, Stella in January this year.

I served Ian a coffee in Sydney's Italian quarter. Let me tell everyone that the man has an aura that just shines. His vibe is electric and although he is not the most attractive man around he definately has something special.... He is also a huge man with huge....feet. : )
