I think that is actually a jade pendant of a Tiki or a Hei Matau from New Zealand (Aotearoa). If I had a close up I could confirm it.

Brandon Routh is really nice, including this detail: "Producers are reportedly worried about the size of Brandon Routh's bulge which would make his profile in the superhero's skintight costume distracting, reports the Sun.
