LINA & PAW - INFERNAL - PARIS BERLIN INTERVIEW

Paw_lina_infernal

They went straight on top of most of the European charts with their song From Paris to Berlin Lina & Paw (who's really hot by the way and has a nice tongue too ;-) allowed us some of their busy time to answer a few questions ... Thanx guys :: Related :: From Paris to Berlin - Infernal :: Infernal Official Site

Pride
Lina: pride makes med thing of grown up women. It seems to me that women get calmer and more self-assure with age. They may not me whistled after in the streets, but they have something else that is worth much, much more than teenage beauty.
Paw&Lina: Pride for us is also very much related to great gay partys. We performed at this years Pride in Stockholm and in Copenhagen – and I can’t figure out why, but gay men just party harder than everybody else…

Ambitious
Paw&Lina: US! We’ve been far more ambitious than most other bands coming out of Denmark. Maybe that’s why we’ve made it? We aim to take things a whole lot further. We would love to tour more because we love performing live, and we are very ambitious about that. VERY ambitious. To us it’s almost like a contest – we want to be the ones who give the crowd the best experience.

Rich
Paw&Lina: What we’ll be someday. We have yet to see when and how (because it hasn’t happened just yet), but we’re determined to create financial freedom for ourselves, so that we can be absolutely free in our creativity.

IPod
Lina: for the cool and the up-beat people. I should use mine (because I actually have one), but I seem to have enough music in my life as it is.
Paw: I think it’s boring. I find it easyer to just put on a cd. I don’t wish to bother converting my cds into mp3s for the iPod.

Sexy
Paw: Hmm… this is going to sound silly, but I’m into waists. A good waist is really sexy to me.
Lina: Infernal! J - and also sex-appeal fortunately is something that doesn’t require beauty.

Berlin
Paw: Techno!
Lina: to me it’s the coolest town for fashion and underground inspiration – my hairdresser goes there all the time.

Energy
Paw&Lina: Infernal on stage! We actually do physical warm-up exercises for about half an hour before a show to make sure we’ve got the energy going.

Ride
Paw: I can’t help thinking of one of the songs on our album – it’s called “I Took a Ride”.
Lina: “I thought of the same. That song is about how nasty people can be. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost seven years and once or twice every year strangers or anonymous people anyway send him text messages and calls to claim that they have been intimate with me or that they know someone who has and stuff like that. Sure I’m flirty – so is Paw. But we don’t cheat. That’s just not worth it.

Life
Lina: Life is meant to be lived to it’s fullest. I always struggle to do everything – not to chicken out only to regret it later on.
Paw: I can’t help thinking of death. I’m not really a afraid of dying or being dead. I’m a afraid of the experience. That really freaks me out.

Infernal
Lina: It’s my life. The band I mean. For better and for worse it is who I am and what I do. It isn’t perfect and there has surely been ups and downs and undoubtedly more of both are to come, but I will fight with all I’ve got to keep it alive. If for nothing else than just to prove that we take party- and club-music seriously.
Paw: It is the name of our band and really it isn’t the best name in the world. It was right when we formed the band back in ’97 and back then it was right for the kind of music that we made, but now it actually conflicts a little bit with the kind of pop-tunes we do.

No Regrets
Lina: I will truly have no regrets if I play full out in life. I’ve have made my experiences in that area and nothing hurts like being bitter about what you didn’t do or say or try. It can haunt you for a lifetime!
Paw: I hope that when I’m an old man I can look back on my life and be satisfied with what I’ve accomplished. That is really all you can ask for, I think.
