Last night, we had the pleasure to be a part of this amazing event, that took place at the Wilshire Ebell Theater, the Daring, Outrageous beauty pageant you have to see to believe !

We had an amazing time, it was a great to be seated next to Marcia Cross while we were "TIVOing" Desperate Housewives on abc at the same time. The opening by Kathy Griffin was hilarious ... so was the rest of the show !
Lotta Slotts and Ida Dunham did not miss a single opportunity to make fun of Tori Spelling (Who by the way looked really hot in her nano short). Tori was one of this year's judges, along with Melinda Clark :: Caroline Rhea :: and Jo Anne Worley.
Swimsuit Competition, Talent Competition, Interviews, Final walk, and the Crowning, the show has it all ! This year's contestants were : Sandy Crab (Miss louisiana), Patrola De Border (Miss New Mexico), Rita Morongo (Miss California), Lu Ow (Miss Hawaii), Helyna Handbasquette (Miss Illinois), Wanda Joy Spaks (Miss Nevada), and Carria Okie (Miss Oklahoma).
Best in Drag Show is a fundraising event benefiting Aid for Aids. They put the Fun back in Fundraiser, last night they raised over $230,000 and $1,000,000 over the past 10 years. It has originaly started 20 years ago under the name of "battle for the Tiara".

Of course none of this would be possible without all the volunteers, such as the hot and sexy Siberian Husky Girls who were collecting the money !
