Friends from Sydney

We had some great time yesterday with our friends from Sydney. They love the city and really enjoy shoping for Parisian fashion :-). We were all a bit tired from partying all night. The River Seine have always been the heart and soul of Paris, dating back to the days when the Paris was a small fishing village on the island known as Ile de la Cité. Ever since the days of the Roman Empire, when Paris prospered through extensive river trading and expanded to the Left Bank, the Seine has been a great commercial artery. In addition to the historic landmarks lining the Seine, travelers can't help but notice the many splendid bridges which - 35 in all - some of them several centuries old. Ironically, the oldest of these is the Pont-Neuf. A great way to discover the city.

AARON KRACH - HALF LIFE

Aaron Krach is a “creative personality” who lives on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. As an artist, he has exhibited photographs and installations from Seattle to Sao Paulo.

In 2004, his first novel, Half-Life, was published. He is a senior editor at Cargo magazine. Born in Michigan, but raised in California, Krach can’t imagine living anywhere else but New York.

Two weeks before high school graduation and the geography of 18 year-old Adam Westman's life is about to change dramatically. But when death and love, perhaps, arrive unexpectedly, Adam must learn that trouble sometimes has to rumble through a tidy world to make room for the kind of magical connections that make life worth living.
