BASTILLE DAY - FIREWORKS AND FIREMEN FESTIVAL
For Bastille Day we have two traditions, fireworks and firemen ! Every year for the nights of the 13th and 14th all the fire stations organize a popular party where everyone is welcome ;-) If you are more into fireworks ... tomorrow night, the main firework will take place by the Eiffel Tower, but Paris - the city of lights - does not like to share the lights ... so all the cities around Paris traditionally have their fireworks on the 13th. Since our living room is facing the Est of Paris we can enjoy a fantastic skyline of fireworks over the park comfortably seated on our sofa. It would be cool if the firemen could also strip under our window ... I know I am asking for too much ;-)

Photos please :) ... and Happy Bastille Day as we say here in Australia! Since we're ahead of you, we've already celebrated! Cassoulet and a fine drop of Chinon, while listening to the accordeoniste playing "La vie en rose"...
