This house is the reason why we've arrived late to the Parade ! It is perfect, and there is a great Guest House by the pool ... I think we could leave there :-) :-) It is only $ 5 Millions ...

I know, you may think we have been "World Touring" Gay Prides this year ! It happened that we arrived in LA at this particular period. Not much difference from Paris except the Parade (that we have missed, visiting a House on our way through Beverly Hills ... I love Open House, so does my friend Francis :-) ... So being late for the parade, we were right on time for the "Festival". Alek took this photo of Francis, Donald, and I with those two Fabulous "Ladies". I have to say that I enjoyed better LA than Paris ... There is something in the air that makes everything appear a little better than anywhere else ... What can I say I love LA !

:: See the Photos of the 2006 Gay Pride in Paris here ::

Gay Pride around here is called "Marche des fiertées", believe me there was not much "walking" I could be proud of !! Anyway, like every year it was a success with 700 000 straight/gay/transsexual/... people following 80 trucks and moving to the rhythm of "Dance Music" in the streets of Paris. We had to take some photos to show you. Carnival Pride or Gay Pride ? I admit that gay couples, walking side by side with their families, parents, children, friends without loud music would have been much, much, more boring. Not that they were not there ... but it was hard to notice them in that crowd !

We are back in Paris :( :( but happy to see our friends Anne Gaelle and Louis. We had a great time in LA, Merci to Donald and Francis, we miss you guys !

We will be back in July ... with lots of photos and news !
France is a country that will always surprise me. Unfortunately, lately, most of those surprises were not in a positive way. Today, a huge "Ceremony" took place in Normandy, to celebrate the memory of those young men and women who died for our country. Guess what ! NONE of the French National TV channels broadcasted live this event, it was everywhere on CNN (USA), BBC (UK), ZDF (Germany), TVEI (Spain), RAI (ITALT), TV POLONIA etc etc ...
SHAME ON FRANCE !
