He is one of the "Stadium Gods" and I have to say he is my favorite. Born in Toulouse the 16th October 1982 (1m82 77kg). He plays for the "Stade Toulousain" and also for the "National French Rugby team".

Pont des Arts

PDA01.jpg

I don't think we will ever be able to choose a particular "favorite place" in Paris. It all depends on the moment, the light, the time of the day, the season ... "Le Pont des Arts" is a pedestrian bridge erected in 1803, the connection between French Academy and Louvre Museum. The most romantic Bridge in Paris. A perfect place to enjoy the sunset.

"I want to thank the city of San Francisco for this amazing stance the mayor has taken for all the people here, not just us but all the thousands and thousands of loving, law-abiding couples," Rosie O'Donnell :-)

Windows of The World

VFT02.jpg

Until today I have spent more than 4000 hours above the clouds. From my hometown "Toulouse" to the the "Seychelles Islands" I have seen lots of incredible things. Unfortunately I was not always able to capture all those magic moments. Here is a small selection of some photos I took in 2003.

Just Drink it !

Wine01.jpg

After those periods of devastation ... let's go back to something more serious ! French Government is very concerned because the average consummation of wine in France is diminishing (Yearly average consummation is 59 Liters-Person N°2 after Italy 60L-Person). While our Prime Minister is concerned about the number of people killed in car accident that involve drunk drivers, the President wants to reassure the wine industry, that French will drink more wine. When the exportations worldwide are going down is China the last hope ?

Earth Impact 36 Hours

IE06.jpg

What would you do if you had 36 hrs left ?

Washington DC 13th of January 2004. Scientists believed that an asteroid later named "2004 AS1" had one in four chance of hitting Earth within 36 hours, somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere. At about 30m wide the asteroid would not have threaten our species but still big enough to cause considerable damage. The procedures for raising the alarm in such circumstances are now being revised. "If the call had been made to the president it would have been disastrous ..." (brian Mardsen, Minor Planet Center)

IE01.jpg

Bush would not have know where it would impact. Experts would have been bouncing radar signals off the huge rock as he spoke in order to get more infos about the trajectory. The object was expected to grow 40 times brighter in the next day (sign it was getting closer very quickly). Fortunately "2004 AS1" did not "meet" earth because it turned out to be bigger than expected - about 500m wide. Conclusion : If an other rock is heading into our direction, scientists would not be able to give us more than 36 hrs ... scary :(

Earthquake in France

The world is going upside down, rain in LA and ... earthquake in France. Less than 2 hours ago a 5.5 shook the country from Starbourg to Lyon. the epicenter was located in the city of Besancon.

Place de la Concorde

FPC01.jpg

Sometimes we complain about Paris, because most of the fountains (not to say all of them) stay dry ... But today, we've enjoyed those empty fountains very much. We have been, Place de la Concorde, (the largest place in Paris) situated along the Seine and separate "Les Champs Elysées" from "le Jardin des Tulieries". During the French revolution Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and over 2800 others lost their heads there. Today in it's center you can admire the Obelisk of Luxor (22.83 meters high).
